What Is Chiropractic?
Chiropractors are primary health care providers who specialize in manual adjustments of the vertebrae of the spine and other joints of the body. Adjustment helps relieve pain and restore normal movement to the joints and supporting muscles and ligaments – so you can enjoy your everyday activities again as quickly as possible.
After diagnosing your condition, your chiropractor will recommend a course of treatment specific to you that may also include mobilization and manipulation of the joints, muscle release techniques, and therapeutic exercises. Chiropractors also prescribe rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies.
Benefits of Chiropractic Care
Improved movement in your neck, shoulders, back and torso
Relief from headaches, neck and back pain
Prevention of work-related muscle and joint injuries
Enhanced athletic performance
Relief of pregnancy-related back ache
Correction of gait and foot problems
Improved sleep pattern
+ What to Expect On Your First Visit?
On your first visit, your Chiropractor will take a detailed health history to determine your individual health needs, what issues you may be currently experiencing, and whether Chiropractic care is suitable in your specific situation. Typically this is followed by a detailed physical assessment which is determined by the Chiropractor, to help discover the underlying cause. The first visit typically lasts 45-60 minutes with subsequent treatment visits conveniently lasting 15-20 minutes.
